Silver Strip (For Rubover or Cabochon Settings), Bearing Wire
This Sterling Silver Bearer Wire, also known as stone setting strip, is mainly used for making Rubover or Cabochon settings. The wire consists of 2 thickness’s. These 2 thickness’s create a step for your stone to sit onto, with the thinner section of the strip being pushed over the stone using a bezel roller (999 AJG), securing the stone in place.
