Deuxe Mahogany Ring Clamp The wedge clamp is a traditional tool which holds jewellery, components but particularly rings. Also known as speed clamps they make every day repairs & alterations fast and easy. To use: simply pull the wedge out of the clamp, and then place the item in the opposing end. Replace the wedge until tight in the clamp to secure the piece. To secure further, tap the wedge on the bench. To release the item tap the wedge sideways on your bench until release. Items can be gripped in either ends, one being rounded, and the other flat. The clamps jaws are lined with leather to prevent marking work. The centre pivot band is made from steel giving an extra strong grip.
