Ricoh Glasses
The history of Ricoh began in 1936 with the founding of Riken Kankoshi Co. Ltd. As early as 1938 it became the Riken Optical Co. Ltd., which manufactured optical devices, including cameras. In 1963, it became Ricoh Co. Ltd. The 1960s and 1970s Ricoh made wrist watches for both the Japanese domestic market and international markets, briefly entering into a partnership with Hamilton Watch Company, for the creation of the Ricoh Hamilton Electric watch. The Ricoh automatic movement was perfected and it remained in production until the 1990s. Ricoh also developed their own quartz watch, introducing it in July 1971. * Other References/Model Numbers Click/Hover "i"
