Proxxon PD 250/E Lathe

Precision lathe for face, longitudinal and taper turning or thread cutting.The Proxxon PD250/E has the capacity between centres of 250mm, and a swing of 70mm with an impressive 43mm over the slide. It has an automatic feed, thread cutting facilities, headstock chuck, live centre and top slide for taper turning. Equipped with an electronic speed control with a spindle range of 100rpm to 3000rpm, depending on belt ratio. The lathe chuck has a high quality 3-jaw chuck made to DIN 8386 Class 1 (concentricity tolerance 0.04mm). Capacity through reversing jaws is from 2-75mm. Included is a lathe chuck guard with safety shutdown. The lathe has a mounting plate for the PF230 mill/drill head to be fixed to it and a full range of accessories is available.

• Drive: Quiet DC special motor with a 3-stage belt drive for 300 – 900 and 3000 rpm. With additional speed control (full-wave electronics) continuously adjustable to 100 – 300 or 1000 rpm, depending on belt ratio. Clockwise - anticlockwise rotation. Main switch with emergency stop function and restart protection
