Mainspring Let Down Tool

Mainspring let down tools are used to safely unwind your clock’s powerful mainspring, so that you may disassemble the movement for proper cleaning and lubrication without injuring yourself and causing extensive damage to the movement. A clock key goes into the chuck and the chuck goes into the handle so you can let down the power of the spring. It does the same job as the let down tool with all the chucks as it can hold various sizes of key
