Grinding Stone Wheel
On many occasions, as watch repairers we face the challenge of changing a watch glass into a shape which is not available as a standard glass. We have a particular abrasive grinding wheel to combat this problem made from Norton, the world market leader for abrasives. Simply mark your glass with a permanent or china graph marker to the desired shape, dunk it in some water, come up to the stone and start trimming. Repeat the process until you see your mineral glass forming to the shape you desire. Please note to play it safe with grinding wheels: 1. Do not wind on to your polishing taper spindle 2. Do not exceed the operating speed 33/ms 3. Mount on to a guard protected grinding machine 4. Wear necessary safety equipment Dimensions:
- 100 x 13mm (S39027) with 31.75mm spindle hole without nylon bushes, 12.75mm with nylon bush fitted
- 150 x 13mm (S34923) with 31.75mm spindle hole without nylon bushes, 19mm with nylon bush fitted
