Clock Gong/Rod (Bolt) Cutters - Made In Japan - HIT

The Jaws are made of drop forged high grade alloy tool steel with heat treated, precision cutting edges for longer cutting life.

These bolt cutters are suitable for cutting a wide range of materials such as gold, silver, platinum, palladium, copper, brass, mild steel, semi-hard steel, hard steel, non ferrous metals, reinforcing bars, spring wire, wrought iron and stainless steel.

Also a favourite with precious metal buyers to cut large bangles, rings, chains, and bracelets if there is a suspicion of heavy plate on none precious metals, particularly lead or copper.

Maximum hardness of material to be cut: Brinell 370/Rockwell C42, 85 Tons/Sq. 133 Kg/square mm.

Please note: never twist the cutter before the material has completely parted. This imposes undue stress on the cutter leading to a rapid deterioration in performance and eventual failure. Select materials sufficient capacity and never cut martial of a greater size then is recommended. Most materials will when they are cut safety goggles/glasses should be worn
