Buff Sticks (Felt)

Felt Buff Sticks (& leather) are a traditional method of hand finishing to a high standard.

Firstly, use leather and finish with a felt buff stick to get the mirror shine. Dip the buff stick into water so they have a damp texture. Mix Jewellers Rouge Powder (P8984) with Mineralised Methylated Spirit (C4357) in a small container to make a toothpaste texture. Apply a fine coating of the paste onto the felt or leather part of the stick using a soft brush (code B9637). For best results polish the piece in the same direction for an expert touch.
