Brass Brushes hand held are excellent for pre-polishing an item, removing excess solder from a piece after is has cooled and to achieve a satin ‘brushed" metal look.

• It is advised that you use the brush with water and soap as a lubricant when polishing your precious metals to avoid the risk of small parts of brass being deposited from the brush which may give your metal a dull appearance.
• Use fine grade abrasive paper for this type of work also to avoid shiny scratch marks getting a pleasant looking soft shine effect
