Art Clay Silver, Paper
Art Clay Paper is perfect for creating intricate 3D folded designs such as Origami or Quilled Jewelry. Paper Plus:
- Easily bent, folded, and cut, producing clean and beautiful edges that do not crack
- Avoid adding moisture to the surface, as this can cause the paper to disintegrate
- After firing, use Art Clay Paste for any necessary repairs
- Store unused Art Clay Paper in its original packaging at room temperature
- Suitable for kiln firing only
- Place it into a cold kiln and fire at full ramp, either to 850°C for 20 minutes or 800°C for 30 minutes
- Once fired, Art Clay Paper can be hallmarked as fine silver (.999)
- Shrinkage rate of 10%
- Paper Plus Shrinkage rate of 8-9%
- Paper Plus is approximately 2.5x thicker than normal Paper Type
- Paper Plus can be cut with scissors or a craft knife and due to retaining a degree of flexibility after firing, can even be used to create pinch bails
