Enicar Glasses
Enicar, a Swiss watch brand, has a history dating back to 1914 when Ariste Racine founded the company and named it after his own last name spelled backward, "Enicar". The company was initially based in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland. Enicar produced a significant number of wristwatches, exceeding 800,000 annually in the 1960s and early 1970s, and sold them in over 90 countries. 1960s and 1970s: Enicar continued to innovate and introduce new technologies, including electro-mechanical and early Swiss quartz watches. Decline and End of the Family Business (1980s-1990s): The quartz crisis of the 1970s significantly impacted the industry, including Enicar. The company faced economic difficulties and ultimately ceased operations as a family-run business.
