Non-returnable Items

Some manufacturers however impose a non-returns/no refund policy for specific items as a condition of sale to Cousins. Unfortunately, Cousins have no option but to impose the same manufacturers non-returns/no refund policies on our customer to be able to stock these items and continue supply.

Whilst we appreciate this is not popular for either Cousins or our customers, it is the only way we can purchase the items and make them available for our customers to purchase.

Items that are classed as non-returnable when supplied correct to order include:

  • Sealed or unsealed spare parts (including circuits, coils and movements)
  • Assortments/kits
  • Books catalogues
  • Consumables including items that are made of natural materials or of a hygienic nature (for example watch straps or ear studs)

Special attention should be drawn to watch movements. Manufacturers will not accept responsibility for faulty movements and are therefore non-returnable. We would strongly advise customers not to purchase watch movements if they are unable or unwilling to accept this.

Restocking Charges

Cousins reserves the right to make a handling and restocking charge per item of £15.00 or 15% of the value of the Goods (whichever is the greater) on Goods which are returned if they were ordered in error or are no longer required by the trade Buyer. These charge values also applies as a processing charge if we ask the supplier to investigate your issue and your item is found not to have a manufacturing fault. Any returnable goods ordered in error or no longer required must be notified to Cousins within 7 days of receipt, after this period they do become non returnable.
