Titanium Label (Strips), Castaldo
Castaldo Titanium Label - Strips Titanium label provides: Specifications: Vulcanising:
- Castaldo Titanium Label®
- Enough jewellery moulding rubber to make 3 to 5 or 15 to 25 standard size jewellery moulds
- Moulds made of new Titanium Label rubber will do all the things you need them to do: bend, flex and stretch easily, make central core cut-outs and even spiral-cut plugs
- Can be clamped at much higher pressures without mould distortion
- Injected at higher wax pressures and at lower wax temperatures
- The combination of those factors means better detail and reduced wax pattern shrinkage
- Supplied in easy to handle & store box which keeps the rubber neat, clean and fresh
- Lined with cloth and lightly dusted to keep fresh and protected (the dust does not interfere with the mould making)
- Titanium label is a harder version of the natural rubber and this will be a harder than the white & gold label
- See PDF's in category information for fact sheet and technical information
- Less pattern distortion
- Reduced rubber shrinkage
- Higher clamping pressures
- Higher injection pressures
- Lower injection temperatures
- Better detail
- Reduced pattern shrinkage
- 45.7 x 7.3 x 3.2mm strips (length x width x thickness)
- 1lb box (0.45 or 2.27Kg)
- It is recommended that a vulcanisation temperature of 307°F (152°C) is used
- In order to calculate vulcanisation time it is recommend to follow this: 7.5 minutes for every thickness (1/8 inch or 3.2mm) of mould rubber, with a minimum time of 30 minutes
- As an example a 3/4 inch mould (19mm) consisting of six thicknesses should be vulcanized for 45 minutes (6 x 7.5). A half inch mould (13mm) should be vulcanized for 30 minutes (4 x 7.5).
