• Stainless Steel
Dumoxel is a patented Dumont alloy which provides most favourable Stainless Steel features while still retaining sufficient hardness. The mixture makes it the most requested brand of metal in Dumont tweezers. Dumoxel is non-magnetic.

• Titanium
Titanium tweezers have several distinctive advantages. They are entirely corrosion resistant. For example, salt water is non-reactive to this alloy. Even though not as tough as stainless steel, it is a more flexible metal. It is also 40% lighter than stainless steel, giving it superior mobility with less user fatigue. Titanium forceps are 100% non-magnetic and heat resistant to temperatures up to 440°C (1022°F).
