Heavy Duty Bolt Cutter High Tensile

This Faithful Tool Quality Bolt Cutter is suitable for cutting a wide range of materials such as gold, silver, platinum, palladium, copper, brass, mild steel, semi-hard steel, hard steel, non ferrous metals, reinforcing bars, spring wire, wrought iron and stainless steel.

The jaws/blades of these Bolt Cutters are made of heavily alloyed steel that are entirely drop forged giving a hardened blade able to withstand heavy use. The ground cutting edge is subjected to a second hardening process for maximum hardness of the cutting edge. The handles are full forged in a ribbed selection alloy steel of a very high elastic limit.

The original Irwin Gilbow cutting snips were first designed in 1924 and have dominated the sheet metal cutting industry to such an extent that today, snips and shears are referred to as "Gilbows".

These Irwin Gilbow cutting snips have accurately ground edges that ensure the material being cut does not slip out of the jaws and become damaged. The hollow ground jaw faces provide a longer life to the cutting edge.
